This webinar contains information about orthopaedic conditions and treatments for educational purposes only. Recorded examinations of adults and children will be shown throughout.

 

2) Limiting liability

 

Virtual Orthopaedic Clinicals is not responsible to you or anyone else for any loss suffered in connection with the use of the webinar or any of the content. This includes, but is not limited to, the transmission of any computer virus.

 

Nothing in this Disclaimer will:

 

  • Limit or exclude Virtual Orthopaedic Clinicals’ liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence

  • Limit or exclude Virtual Orthopaedic Clinicals’ liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation

  • Limit or exclude Virtual Orthopaedic Clinicals’ liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or

  • Exclude any of Virtual Orthopaedic Clinicals liabilities that may not be excluded under applicable law.

1) Intellectual Property

 

Unless otherwise indicated, Virtual Orthopaedic Clinicals owns copyright for all the content distributed. Copyright may also be owned by the individual presenters who have agreed to share their content under a pre-approved license or agreement.

 

Recordings used as part of the virtual event should only be accessed through the e-conference website. The content must under no circumstances be recorded or reproduced.

 

If you seek to reproduce or utilize the content in any way, unless authorized in writing, we will consider this a breach of copyright. Actions taken against copyright violations will include but not be limited to:

 

The delegate being forbidden from attending future courses

The delegate being reported to the relevant Supervisors

The delegate being reported to the relevant Hospital Medical Directors

Details of the delegate and the violation may be passed on to the police

Virtual Orthopaedic Clinicals’ may seek to prosecute

 

2) Learning Outcomes

 

Virtual Orthopaedic Clinicals is not liable for the detailed content of the webinar, quality of presentations or if personal learning outcomes did not entirely meet expectations.

 

3) Links from the webinar

 

The webinar may contain links to other websites including industry sponsors. Virtual Orthopedic Clinicals is not liable for the content, or any inaccuracies featured on those websites.

 

4) Registrations

 

By registering for the webinar, the delegate gives consent for their relevant data to be processed by Event Management Direct for the purpose of the event.

 

5) Refund or cancellation

 

Registration for this event may be cancelled up to 8 weeks prior to the event but will incur a £50.00 administration fee. Any cancellations requested after this deadline will not be eligible for a refund.

 

No refunds will be given in the event of absence due to personal circumstances including, but not limited to, technical issues, inadequate internet access or other software non-compatibilities. It is recommended that delegates complete their own checks to test streaming capabilities prior to the start of the event.

 

6) Rectification

 

Whilst Virtual Orthopaedic Clinicals takes considerable care in reviewing the content of this webinar and any other medical information communicated through the website, delegates are encouraged to contact the team via the Contact Us link if they believe that any information is incorrect or contentious. Any reports made will then be reviewed and rectified, if necessary, for future productions.
